Day 24: OOOOOklahoma!

I consider myself a "city girl".  I love living in midtown where I can shop in Utica Square, eat on Brookside and catch a show downtown all within miles of each other.  However, once I get outside the city limits I realize just how beautiful our state really is.  While driving to a shoot in Chateau I found myself on dirt roads surrounded by open fields of cows, barns, farming equipment and golden wheat.  This was a unusually sunny and warm day for January so I couldn't help but jump out and snap some shots.  I did very little editing to this picture so the color you see is pretty close to actual.  With the wind sweeping down the plain and the waving wheat, this country day sure smelled sweet.
