The day of worship. The day of rest. The day of big family meals. The day when it's okay if you don't get out of your pajamas. For us, all of the above applies. Granted our worship might our Dallas Cowboys game or our favorite Sunday night show, but we are thankful nonetheless. The Sunday meal, it is plentiful. My husband often cooks as though he is feeding the whole block. I don't complain. A lot of times the meal preparation begins on Saturday and when it finally fills our mouth, we look at each other nodding in agreement that this is pure deliciousness! Shortly after eating the eyes start getting heavy and those little jerks start happening right before you fall asleep. Waking up on the couch, t.v. is still on and guess what? It's time to eat again and the seconds are even better than the first. In between our favorite Sunday night shows it's time for that sweet snack that has been waiting in the refrigerator. It's almost too pretty to eat but is literally the sweetness to our sweet Sunday. Time for bed now and we didn't even have to change clothes.
